Claire has two degrees; one in Civil Structural and Environmental engineering and the other in Maths from Trinity College, Cambridge and the University of Dublin respectively. Claire has more than ten years teaching experience in both state and private schools in different countries.
In terms of Initial Teacher Training, early in her career Claire led the mentoring of PGCE and NQT students in her schools Maths department.
Subsequently, Claire has led the training for Sutton SCITT maths hub since its inception with excellent results. In addition to her work in ITT, Claire has been an advanced skills teacher for the last 5 years supporting teachers from a range of schools across South London.
Finally, she led a borough wide primary transition programme for more able Year 6 pupils in maths sponsored and endorsed by the London Mayor and shared as good practice across London.
